Where I think the Trump campaign needs to focus (16 Days out).

What is done is done and concentrating on the things that cannot be influenced or the battles that can’t be won is useless. I think it is all about the one and two percenters now that can tip the balance for every viable state to Trump (and yes to clear the extra hurdle of very obvious election fraud by the Democrats).

Catholicism – I cannot believe that Catholics are prepared to suck up Hillary’s campaign’s efforts and attitude towards them. Anyone who is Catholic ought to be a little outraged over the comments. The comments are not only derogatory and ill-thought out. Not only did they thumb their noses up at the religion but they also suggested changing Catholicism within and in their Culturally Marxist image of what it could be. I cannot tell you how much of an attack on religion and religious freedoms this is.

The tenets of Catholic faith are wrapped within within Ancient traditional views and these do not gel with the “Progressive Liberal” too well and so the “obvious” answer is to destroy the faith and make it something it is not and based not on the religious principles but on the secular “Progressive” Principles.

This is SUCH an opportunity. People DON’T know. Where are the largest Demographics of Catholics? In the tiny states of Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. These are ALL Deep Blue States. But even Vermont which may seem an unlikely connection give only 33% are religious and only 20% of the state are Catholic, there is a real possibility. A lot of people are “writing in” Bernie Sanders on the ballot. this is completely legal and does not delegitimise the vote. However essentially it means you effectively have Trump who would likely be out of contention in this state suddenly in contention as there are effectively a splitting of the Democratic base of Vermont between Bernie and Hillary. From there he just needs to push the Catholic contingent of both of these two bases and see what happens. It may be a lot closer than what may have ordinarily been assumed.

More than this states like Arizona and New Mexico have large Latino populations. Of these populations, what percentage are Democrats? Of these populations, what percentage are strong Catholics? I think given this and especially given the comments about “Needy Latinos”, a Pro-Trump Latino contingent would likely be able to push this message well in the minds of the Democrats supporters and give pause to who and what they are blindly supporting.

Uranium One – Hillary Clinton the one who spits poison at Vladimir Putin every chance she gets and blames Wikileaks on Russia and says Trump is close to Putin. Yet SHE signed off on a deal to sell contracts for 20% of all of USA’s rich Uranium deposits to Uranium One a Russia controlled company Uranium one. One that her right hand man John Podesta holds (or held – reports are that he has given them to his daughter). It was textbook pay to play. It is chronicled in Clinton Cash.

Go where there IS Russia connections and solid ones at that NOT allegations.

Child Care – These reforms are tangible and concrete and cannot help but appeal to ANY working parents. Ivanka lays it all out beautifully. This affects so many Americans and is such a change for what is currently available.

Project Veritas – The Democrats cannot divorce themselves from this. It not only nullifies the faux outrage on why Donald Trump would question the election results BUT also it shows in absolute terms that these people are colluding and paid for to disrupt and incite violence on behest of the Democrat Party. People were hurt and in my mind, each of these people now have a claim against the DNC if not Hillary. It also juxtapositions against Trump as the Law and Order candidate with Hillary as the Violence inciting candidate.

Taxes – People HAVE to be made aware that the talking point of Hillary’s that Trump will JUST reduce the taxes of the businesses CANNOT go unaddressed. Let people know that their own taxes are going down and that the regulations that inhibit companies being able to expand their businesses. The effect that will have on opportunity. Hillary is going to tax the rich more. So what?

Healthcare – Obamacare is practically a meme. Chelsea Clinton said on Obamacare (Affordable HealthCare “We know we do need to work on the affordable part of the Affordable Care Act.” Can’t write comedy like that. I think if he names states and increases and asks who did not expect this would happen.

Special Interests – Hillary is colluding with press, GOP, DNC, Agitators, Wall Street, Banks, Foreign Interests and they all expect their pound of flesh. Trump has virtual no big donors or special interest groups in comparison. No one owns him. He is able to be a lot less partisan when he tries to #Draintheswamp.

I think these stupid sexual assault “revelations”/”allegations” are complete bullshit and a distraction and smear. Its just too coincidental.

  • 3 weeks before a Presidential election
  • 1 week after he roasted Hillary Clinton’s husband for being an actual sexual predator
  • 2 weeks after the Trump Tapes came out
  • 5 months after The Clinton campaign had discussed making the “Donald the Groper narrative” that was exposed in the Wikileaks dump.

I man there are also inconsistencies, eye witnesses and even someone being found to do this just before releasing a porn movie.

Hillary does not take the High road with anything and she is not only setting the standard for future Male female candidate contender battles. The female candidate simply brings in these lying attention seeking women to accuse the male candidate of sexual abuse. There is the high road for you and the precedent she set and she set it 5 months ago in secret.

But Trump cannot focus on that or get drawn into making that a focus.

I think that the issues that sell are the ones above and they are the ones he should focus on. Any of the other issues are pretty much run out and I do not think we should try to change direction or re-clarify positions or introduce new issues.

I strongly believe he should mobilise his surrogates. The Military leaders and Mike Flynn ought to visit and do rallies for vets in Florida and Virginia for example. There is a lot of ground that can be made and efforts can be multiplied by getting everyone involved.

Anyhow that is my thoughts.

The Second Debate: However badly you think you think Hillary did, she did worse.

I just watched the Second Presidential Debate. If I was nervous about the first one  I was doubly so with the second. I knew Hillary was not going to collapse or cough or whatever. Worse than this, a couple of days before the debate, The Trump Tapes had been dropped on Trump and were seen as perhaps campaign ruining by some.

I thought Trump may have been on the ropes a little. I know he is a smart guy and plays to win. I know he is not sensitive and soft, but in addition to this I knew he had two moderators and they were both Liberals. I suspected he was being set up to be bailed out of the campaign.

I had two things that gave me a little solace. Firstly, Trump is unpredictable and secondly, he has the bar set so low for him in terms of expectation, that he may survive this debate even if it goes rather badly.

Now I have watched the debate in its entirety and all I can say is “Wow! Holy shit!”. Hillary has done so very badly here. Terribly. I will need to really spell out how bad this was in my view because it is not perhaps as some have spelled it out of for reasons they may say. Its actually worse and for better reasons.

Last debate Hillary won. She did better. Not by much, but better. Trump returned the favour. I would have rated out of 10 for the last debate, Hillary a 7.5 and Trump a 6. You will note not a lot between them. This debate I would rate Hillary a 6-6.5 and Trump a 7.5-8.

Hillary suffers from a weight of media and Liberal surrogate driven high expectations. She is SUPPOSED to be this experienced, super knowledgeable, efficient , connected, policy wonk. Trump is supposed to be an inefficient, uncontrolled, ineffective, ignorant, useless, stupid, hopeless, rambling idiot. His expectations are terrible.

As I said in the previous post she is almost obligated to destroy Trump in the debates because she is this political superwoman and he is a joke candidate in contrast and comparison, apparently. So he doing not markedly worse than her in the first debate actually probably went against her. This time he actually beat her. THAT REALLY goes against her. IF he is this hopeless candidate and she is the pinnacle of political brilliance, how the Hell does that happen?

But it is worse than that Trump is a person that is not running on political experience or political knowledge or his political achievements. He is running on his energy, personality, anti-establishment ideas, and his fresh ideas. This debate forum is entirely suited to Clinton. He also wings it far more than Hillary and THAT is a weakness. If she gets such low crowds, hates rallies and interviews, has no personality and such, then THIS is where she HAS to demolish him. Three debates. First one she barely won, second one, she lost, and now she only really has one more opportunity.

But it gets worse than that. The Moderators were interjecting, favouring Hillary, loading questions against Trump, and even debating Trump. Still he won.

But it gets worse still. Two days ago the Trump Tapes were dropped and caused an uproar. Trump publicly apologised and People were up in arms. It was going to come up and it was going to be ugly. Seemingly all Hillary had to do was to sink the boot. Trump was expected to be knocked down by this and leave the debate with his campaign in tatters. What did he do? He got the women who have been on the other end of Hillary’s malice to speak out about this and to be in the front row of the Presidential debate. then when it got onto that topic (and not satisfied with Trump’s inability to  grovel) and ask it three times, Trump was able to answer it effectively and decisively and take that off the table. Hillary could not do much with it and when she did he destroyed her with talking about Bill (with him in the audience no less).

I get the feeling that she is simply out of strategy or answers. She is losing ground and her campaign’s attempts to hurt him are failing. I expect there will be bigger things to come out in this last 4 weeks and they will be more terrible BUT after this sensational failure, won’t it be seen as what it is? Desperate ploys made by desperate people?

This still could go any way. But Hillary has one more opportunity to take out Trump. If Trump can gain in the Battleground states and keep those gains, he will win and he is slowly doing that. A slight shift to him will have him turn Florida and Pennsylvania from tied to win. There is precious little between North Carolina, Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Higher rates of Republican and Independent turnouts for Trump and/or a few percent shift, will change the whole nature of this election.

Watch how desperate Hillary’s campaign will be from here on out and how many different tactics they will use. Strap in folks. It is going to be a bumpy ride.

YES, Trump said some really crappy things about women, and…..

….that means what exactly? This is the bit I am struggling with. He is not a nice guy? He is suddenly unable to lead America because he said some shitty things ten years ago? That his policies are somehow less important or considered or relevant than they were a few days ago before we knew?

What exactly?

Is what he said excusable? Does it need to be? Really? Why? And what does that mean anyhow? I mean this people saying “Oh your apology looks forced”, Who fucking cares? Its from people that would under no circumstances have accepted it and probably would not have voted for him regardless, but want to marinate in his “comeuppance”. Fuck them, there is nothing he would have been able to do to “make things right” with them, so who cares about their opinion?

So Hillary and her surrogates think that this nullifies his attacks over her husbands, treatment of women. What about Hillary herself? He certainly was taped having a pretty lewd locker room type spew against women, but what about HER?

I do not even have to look at Bill and HIS behaviour but LOOK at Hillary. Not that Hillary has said anything that Donald has said (which is immature, chest thumping, ego blasting, crass, lewd locker room speak) BUT I would say this is equally on the same level……on second thoughts probably a fair bit worse.

Did you get an apology from Hillary? Will anyone expect it? Will she be pilloried for it?

The thing that pisses me off with this whole thing is that Hillary could rock up to the debate with a baby on her lap and proceed to eat it live on air and she would get a pass on it. Trump will cop a lot of shit over this and it may stymie his rise.

I was never under any allusion about Trump. The man IS flawed. “How flawed?” Is the question. Not nearly as much as Hillary. His getting another Conservative judge will prevent a lot of eroding of the US legislation and will prevent redefining traditionally held interpretations of the constitution. His putting America first will allow America to thrive in a world economy. His willingness to break up the establishment will allow for a lot of the trough swilling corruption to be exposed and cauterised. He is taking out Common Core. He has that effect of calling out bullshit (much like the boy from the Emperor’s new clothes story). It is a necessary when political correctness and moral pandering to “Progressives” and Liberal media has a chilling effect on people. He calls it out right or wrong. He is coming at many of his policies with a fresh set of eyes and that is also helpful.

I think he will get decent and smart people around him to feed him good knowledge and execute the aspects of government that he needs to run America. I do not think he will be terribly hands on but I think that he will be a decent statesman as his talks with the Egyptian leaders and the Mexican President.

I think as flawed as he is, he is not without any merit and I think the same cannot be said for Hillary. In the debate when he said “She has experience and its bad experience. 30 years and what have you done?” Its all true. She is the embodiment of political corruption and status quo. The very worst of politics is what she offers. It needs to be done away with.

I am so annoyed that this COULD actually hurt him and be seen as mattering to his Presidency when it doesn’t in the slightest.

An Australian Centrist view of Donald Trump…

Hillary Clinton is corrupt and an influence peddling politician, on the take, and seemingly above the law. She is however cunning as a fox and has the might of the establishment, media, social platforms, and the majority of Hispanic, Black and LGBT voters supporting her.

But then there is Donald Trump.

How the Hell did this guy blow away 16 candidates? The guy is a machine.

I DO like his ability to piss people off and not budge an inch against the outrage merchants, PC police, identity politic panderers and Social Justice Warriors. Takes guts and balls. Another thing I like about him is his ability to actually engage and be animated, joke around, and such. The fact that people under-estimate him is kind of awesome.

There is one tiny thing I have an issue with. (I mean he IS a blowhard, egoist and arrogant, but I have no issue with these things. Nothing dishonest or malicious about these traits – See Hillary above). That one issue is, in his efforts to simplify things he has taken very complex matters with much nuance and sensitivity and a heap of context, and tried to sum these things up in 2 sentence answers. Now I have reason to suspect why he has done this but it HAS hurt him a bit and unfairly so.

I can well imagine his campaign staff saying “Okay Donald, I really need your attention a minute. Here is one of the big issues we need to address. Read through this memo on illegal immigrants. Really important.”

Him saying “Yeah I got it. Illegal immigrants are important”

Them trying again “No, Donald. We spent hours on this. It is really nuanced and very sensitive. We need you to hit all the right notes or they will twist this to make you look really bad”

Him saying “Trust me it will be fine. They will love it”

Them going full hog whilst they have his attention “Right. Donald, because of open borders Mexican cartels prey on illegal immigrants to people smuggle, use as drug mules and rape trees mark the no man land around the border between Mexico and US, as a testament to the brutality that the Mexican cartels visit on illegal immigrants trying to cross. There is gang warfare and murders and associated cartel violence around these areas. A border wall will reduce this substantially. It will keep our citizens safer and mean less illegal immigrants have to deal with these atrocities.”

He tells them its great and then (without teleprompter) and without any of that background or context says “They send rapists and drug dealers here…”

At the end of the speech he is all smiles and thumbs up, the liberal press gets out their knives and the memo writers are consecutively facepalming or crying.

This is I think his biggest problem. I do not think his policies or messages are bad or immoral or come from a bad place nor are stupid. I think they are really very good. His delivery did suck.

Was it completely be accident though?

Donald Trump is despite his faults persuasive, charismatic AND smart. It is one of the things that people so often underrate him on. I notice it with Liberals, they see him and assume that he is stupid and immoral and then with this overestimation of their own moral and intellectual superiority over him and by direct connection, his followers, they cast insults and judgments down from a high horse position.

Then they are surprised when he meets each challenge put toward him. They increasingly find themselves running short of reasons for him doing so well. Luck can only go so far and how many people in the US are REALLY THAT stupid/immoral? Of course the possibility that they were the stupid ones to not see what was going on is too hard for them to admit. The same applies to their belief of him as a fascist, Nazi, racist, xenophobe, sexist or whatever. He keeps on Trumping them. Shame too for them because they miss out on seeing brilliance.

Remember when he started? 16 candidates. Over a year worth of campaigning. I think he was smart and said “I gotta do whatever I need to win this Primary. Long term consequences be damned. Let me win here and then I will deal with the fallout later because if i don’t win this and play too safe, there will be no later”

He generated SO much free press. As someone that was funding himself it would have been a boon, BUT that was not the main two reasons to generate the free press. One reason was to make him the focus. This put him right up at the leader pack in front of many seasoned politicians. It also starved publicity from the other candidates. If everyone is writing about Trump and not you, then they are unlikely to vote for you. Of course I have mentioned the types of things he said that generated this free publicity.

Then he picked those juvenile names:Low Energy Jeb, Little Marco and Lyin’ Ted. Yes, they were silly and immature BUT they DID stick with repetition and NO ONE wants to vote in a politician that you think is a liar or is lazy or petite.

They kept dropping out. It WAS brutal and there was a lot of fallout. The party was fractured. Then it was time to start consolidating. His VP pick was a good one. Not only for the evangelical vote (because he was not going to get it through the Cruz camp) but more importantly he represented a line to the establishment who were unhappy with Trump (a tip of the hat, if you will). Heading into the convention an attempted coup failed. The convention was almost resoundingly a success. Two speeches (his wife’s and Ted’s) were slightly problematic. But that was no big thing. Letting Ted speak would make Donald look like the better person regardless. Better he did look too. Whilst Cruz was not interested in endorsing Trump, he virtual committed political suicide and so very many of his horrified supporters have thrown in with Trump now.

Trump no longer needs to attract attention. He needs to mend a few bridges, which as mentioned above, he is doing. He needs to campaign hard but he is up for that. He has identified 15 battleground states to concentrate on leading up to the election. I have noticed he is relying more on the teleprompters and keeping it nice and tight. His support base is solid and growing. His party is slowly solidifying around him. (Many of the people adamantly opposed to him are coming to the end of their terms this year and may well finish up or be voted out, which will take away some of the problem).

So at the moment he is up in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. If he can defend the Romney states and flip these, then he has won it. He is 5 months from the general election and obviously a lot can happen but he has finally broken through and is leading Hillary in the polls, and in the states that matter.

I personally think Hillary for all her corruption and her support from media, social media, SuperPacs, various celebrities and Liberal establishment will lose this one. She WILL snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

It will be glorious. When she loses and he wins, I am going to contact all of those celebrities that virtue signalled that they were going to leave US if trump became President and I will ask them each when are they leaving.

This is an exciting election. I do hope that the Bernie supporters do not support Hillary as she screwed them through her surrogates in the DNC. We know how that goes though they do her bidding on her behalf with her having plausible deniability and in return they get the promise of a reward. Just like the Mafiosi back in the day the soldiers would do work for the caporegimes who acted for the Don. If the soldiers were caught they had to take the fall and remain quiet. Whilst in prison, their families were looked after and they had a reward for when they got out. However if they tried to rat out the Boss, then the result was often fatal. Do Debbie Wasserman-Schultz takes the fall and gets an appointment by Hillary as a reward (Well done trying to look like you were not rewarding her Hillary, subtle you weren’t).

I think really their options are either of two options. Either “reward” Hillary and give her the result she deserves by voting for Trump OR vote for someone at least as ideologically pure as Bernie (if not moreso) in progressive politics. Carry on the Political revolution. Vote for her, build the grassroots and networks. If you vote for her will you win? Nope. But if you do all rally behind her, you will give her strength and you will see how much difference you made, where your weaknesses are and what you need to do over the next 4 years to make the party viable and politically viable against the other two. So maybe a red, blue and green party?

I am really looking forward to Trump winning and for him to prove his naysayers wrong.

This is why Trump keeps on winning

I am being won over by Trump for a number of reasons.

It has been a reluctant conversion. Mainly because I think he is a bit of a blowhard and promises too much, that I honestly do not think he has a hope of delivering on.

What got me on side was two things his style of trolling crap out of people that try to subdue him and making them freak out, and secondly, his ability to upset the kinds of people I do not like. The perpetually outraged, politically-correct, virtue signalling moral arbiters and social justice warriors. The media was against him and I liked seeing him owning them.

I found myself sticking up for him when people were misrepresenting him. I watched each poll and cheered when he won and sighed when he lost.

But he still had not won me over.

Another thing in his favour is how much better he was to his opposition. It was easier barracking for him without him being the best pick of the three candidates. Him, Hillary or Bernie. A criminal and a social vs a businessman.

But going from best of a bad lot to more of a fan required something a bit more.

In challenging the social justice warriors and media narratives of him (normally edited and misrepresented) I found myself thinking about his policies so much more.

Is there a problem with Mexican illegal immigration in America (and no I am not going to entertain the fact that he either said or meant that all Mexicans – illegal or legal – because it is a dishonest narrative)? Yes. Will build a wall prevent the majority of illegal immigrants? Yes. Will the follow on effects be better for America? Probably. Its certainly a rational and logical conclusion.

Is there some really big problems with open border policies in Europe? Is a lot of the recent issues in Cologne, in Paris, in Brussels as a result of radicalised Muslims and has this been caused through mass and poorly vetted immigration from Muslim dominated countries? I know that feelings can get in the way of logic and reason here but it must be. Was that same ideology behind the San Bernardino attacks or the Orlando attacks? Will Hillary/Obama’s plans to increase Muslim immigration by 500% be better than Donald trump’s plan of stopping Muslim immigration?

Is tough trade deals a good or a bad thing? Are other countries taking advantage of America? I have no idea. IF it is true then Trump is probably making sense again.

None of these things are homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, racist or any of the other bigotries the leftist monkey organ likes to spew.

Now we could rightfully ask the question, does Donald trump have a decent chance to do the things he is wanting to do? Even with the power of the Presidency will he have the ability to make such broad sweeping changes and will it have the impact he is after if he does make them? I honestly do not know but I believe the sincerity of everything he says. He says he is “Gonna build a wall and have Mexico pay for it”. I don’t care if he can or not. I think he believes it and I believe he will do all he can to make it happen. It becomes easy to compare even these things. Would you prefer someone who is trying to pull out stops to reduce the volume of non-citizens illegally entering the country and the various problems associated with this? Or do you want someone who refuses to address it in any way.

Furthermore, I think of the fact that the massacre at Pulse nightclub was on Latin night. I am wondering whether the gay community and the Hispanic gay community and all Americans with gay and Hispanic friends and family could take seriously Hillary Clinton who tries to make this another “gun issue” and has to be pushed into even acknowledging the obvious radical Islamic connection. In some radicalised Islamic countries gays are thrown from rooftops by radical Muslims and so why would a radical Muslim not hold the gay community in such low disregard. She KNOWS what is happening with these radical Islamic immigrant elements in Europe and she is happy to treat the issue as a gun problem (other feminists are trying the “toxic masculinity” trope) and is happy to quintuple the Muslim immigration rates. Only Donald Trump, the man pilloried by the Hispanics and gays alike for being so divisive and sexist and racist and homophobic, is prepared to say “This is bad and its dangerous and we do not want the problems of Europe here in America. We do not want to increase risk by not properly controlling immigration and allowing people like the San Bernardino and Orlando zealots to slip through the cracks”. Reducing Muslim immigration would help in this regard. Placing a freeze on it would be better. increasing Muslim immigration by 500% is not going to do this.

Again it is not racist. Protecting American citizens from future attacks is not a bad thing. “What about the Muslims that are already in America?”. What about them? Him making a decision does not retroactively change the past. It no more changes the status of a Muslim immigrant settled in America than changes the events of these horrible tragedies.

The Judge Curiel case he has got ground to suspect that the Judge MAY (operative word) a little impartial and bias. Unfortunately Trump has done another Trump kind of thing and done himself no favours. The Judge HAS made some terrible decisions. The Judge DID have some questionable associations if one is looking at whether he could possibly be at all biased. Does that mean he IS biased? No. Does that mean IF he WAS biased it was BECAUSE of his ethnicity? Short answer is “Yes”. But it is a bit more involved. I had about half the story from my own looking into it and it certainly seemed reasonable to asked the question on all I could see. Donald Trump knew a lot more than me about it. Did he share it all? Nope. He talks in a collection of soundbytes and doesn’t give the full story or big picture. He mentioned the judge made some “bad decisions”. That means nothing to anyone. (I looked into some of the decision and , DAMN!) He said the Judge could be biased because “he was Mexican”. I mean this is red rag to a bull kind of stuff. He also mentioned the judge had some associations but again did not expand on this and it was after the Mexican statement. Of course it was conveniently dropped and everyone rounded on him for being racist.

Whilst I really could expand on why this there is grounds on the Judge recusing himself, this guy does a better job than I could ever do. What trump said again was completely reasonable.

It is again, a constant theme. He is allowed to be attacked. That is perfectly fine BUT should he fight back he is a bigot. If Rosie O’Donnell or Megan Kelly want to attack him then he can’t fight back because he is sexist if he does.

If he is being hard done by the Judge Curiel then him bringing attention to this is because he is racist.

If he fights hard against his other Republican contenders in the primary race he is a bully.

No. Enough of all of this. His policies are good and his want to fight back is fine. I say he should do more of it. In the press. Against the Liberal and Conservative haters. No matter what they identify with. He should try to implement these policies of his and should push his message of border and economic security for America.

I can put up with his foot in mouth moments because he has more substance than Hillary. Hillary has nothing to offer and will only hurt America. People are waking up. He keeps winning. He will keep winning.
